Engineering & Construction Technologies Summer Camps
2024 Summer Camps
The Engineering and Construction Technologies programs will host our 2024 Summer Camps on campus again. These camps are led by our architectural, construction, engineering and surveying faculty.
General Information
Campers will:
- build and demo structures with testing equipments
- use wiring and programming system on built structures
- design bridges with software
- design models using 3D software
- print designs with 3D printers
- and participate in fun physical education activities.
No prior knowledge or experience is required. Our camps take place on the Sandhills Community College - Moore County main campus. The camp fee covers all camp supplies and activities and a t-shirt for each participant.
2024 Engineering Technologies Summer Camp 1
(This camp is identical to Summer Camp 2)For Rising 6th through 9th Graders
Monday, June 24th – Thursday, June 27th
9 AM – 3 PM (No care or supervision is provided before or after camp hours)
$250 ( price includes a t-shirt)
Lunch: Campers will be provided a $10/day lunch voucher, Monday - Wednesday to use
at the SCC Cafeteria. A pizza party will be provided on Thursday.
2024 Engineering Technologies Summer Camp 2
(This camp is identical to Summer Camp 1)For Rising 6th through 9th Graders
Monday, July 8th – Thursday, July 11th
9 AM – 3 PM (No care or supervision is provided before or after camp hours)
$250 (price includes a t-shirt)

Registration for camp is closed.
Registration deadline is Friday, May 31st.
Camp Counselor Information
Camp Counselors will be selected to assist Æðµã´«Ã½ faculty and staff with our Engineering Technology Summer Camps. Camp Counselors must be at least 16 years old to apply. Job Descriptions and an Application of Interest are provided by the following link.
Applications of Interest should be submitted by April 30, 2024.
