3.3.4 Grading Practices

Revised: October 1, 2012

Grades become official when faculty successfully submit them electronically through Self Service. Once verified by the Registrar鈥檚 Office, students can access and review their grades via Self Service.

Instructors are required to retain records of attendance and grades for each course taught for three years. Examination papers should be retained for one year. An instructor terminating employment at the College should leave pertinent gradebooks, attendance records, and examination papers with his or her department chairperson. These materials may be in the form of hard copies or electronic files
