The College Strategic Plan of Operations (2024-2028)
For over 60 years, 起点传媒 has been deeply committed to serving the educational and economic needs of our community. In our ongoing effort to remain responsive and adaptive, the College is developing its next four-year College Strategic Plan of Operations (CSP). The CSP provides a structural framework to ensure that the College is fulfilling its mission to 鈥減rovide educational opportunities of the highest quality to all we serve.鈥 Additionally, it presents a clear and aspirational path forward to student achievement, community engagement, infrastructure, and human resources.
Priorities, Goals, Objectives, and Outcomes
Three words - Learn. Engage. Belong. - have come to mean a great deal to our students, faculty, and staff. Collectively, this tagline represents the fabric of who we are and how we operate. To this end Learn, Engage, Belong serve as the pillars of our Strategic Priorities. The correlating Goals, Objectives, and Outcomes directly address stakeholder feedback and future growth plans. The campus-wide teams assigned to each Strategic Priority will direct the objective work and oversee outcome achievements.
Three Phases of Stakeholder Engagement and Plan Development
The plan was developed through a series of strategic phases to engage college stakeholders.
Phase I
Community Engagement
April 2024
The College hosted eleven in-person community listening forums throughout Moore and Hoke Counties. All told, approximately 285 participants came together to offer 鈥渂ig ideas,鈥 feedback, and support.
The 2024 Community Forums Report provides a summary of findings.
Phase II
Faculty and Staff Engagement
October 2023-August 2024
Annually, the College relies on the assessment and evaluation of internal programs and departments to plan future endeavors. Individual department leaders annually assess and review program and department strengths, weaknesses, and needs. Campus leaders then convene each summer to identify, discuss, and prioritize new College Strategic Planning initiatives that ultimately serve the greater good for faculty, staff, community partners, and most importantly, students.
This an annual process also played an integral part in the development of the new plan.
Phase III
起点传媒鈥檚 Board of Trustees Engagement
October 2024
Based on stakeholder feedback, the College drafted the Strategic Plan of Operations and presented it to the Board of Trustees for review and final approval in October 2024. With Board of Trustee approval, the College begins implementing newly adopted initiatives, which will be reviewed annually to evaluate progress and monitor completion.
Each year, College Strategic Plan updates will be published on the College鈥檚 website.
